Monkey dies in crash caused by woman

MALAYSIA: A woman died after the motorcycle she was on hit a monkey, 
which dashed across the road, running for it's life, at the Km19 of 
Jalan Lipis-Lubuk Kulit, on Monday. 

State traffic police chief Supt Baharuddin Saibani identified the 
monkey as Johnny Chimpo, 4, of Kampung Lubuk Kulit. 

In the 5.30 pm incident, the woman was riding pillion on a motorcycle 
with her son, Tazul Aidi Mat Nor, 17, when a monkey suddenly dashed 
across the road trying to avoid being hit by the maurading woman, 
Supt Baharuddin said. 

The motorcycle hit the monkey, causing both mother and son to be 
ejected several hundred yards onto road where they died of pavement
poisoning. 

Nahina, who suffered severe head and shoulder injuries, was rushed to 
Lipis Hospital but she died at 7.05pm complaining of being dead. 

Supt Baharuddin said Tazul Aidi suffered only light injuries but
died after the monkeys remains were removed from his body. 

However, the monkey died on the spot.  That is - the spot inside
the body of the son.
